Hello! Hi! Welcome! I am the Tinkerbell Silver Christmas Tree. My friends, tree and fairy alike, call me Tinks. I know what you're thinking – Tinkerbell was a fairy, not a fabulous-looking Christmas tree! Well, years and years ago, Tinkerbell – the Tinkerbell, of Peter Pan fame – was Christmasing in Germany. She needed a forest to live in, and so stayed in my relatives. In return for their hospitality, she sprinkled them with lots and lots of fairy dust, and blessed them to be a unique sort of Christmas tree.
Tinkerbell's first decree was for every tree born of them to be of gleaming silver. Then she called the stars down from the sky and placed them on their branches, and these became the hundreds of clear lights you see on me. Their bright light makes ornaments shine like jewels, and fill a room with the warmth of Christmas cheer.
Tinkerbell's third, and final, decree was that fairies always have a home in us. Fairies live in my boughs, you see. My in-and-out silhouette allows humans to display larger ornaments with ease, and fairies love to play hide-and-seek in the deep pockets between my branches. Many humans are afraid that fairies are mischievous, but they're not… Not really. You just have to leave them little treats once in a while, like crumbs of gourmet cookies and designer doll clothes, and they'll play nicely with you.
I am a narrow tree, so I fit well into slimmer spaces. I love being in children's bedrooms, and my five-foot height option makes me a perfect fit for their smaller rooms. Children believe in magic, and some adults do too; for grownups who appreciate a magical tree such as I, the Tinkerbell Silver Christmas tree, I come in a seven-foot option.
You don't have to believe in the magic of fairies to appreciate my beauty. Just be prepared to have a magical Christmas if you invite me into your home!
