Howdy, misters and misses! I’m the Cotton Candy Pink Christmas Tree, and I sure am pleased as punch to make your acquaintance. My daddy always taught me to shake hands when introducing myself, but accountin’ for my not havin’ any, I’ll let my cute little peach-colored foliage do the shakin’.
I hope I’m not bein’ too forward and unladylike for lettin’ you know I want to be your tree. I just love to dress up, with white ornaments bein’ my favorites. Daddy took me to a Christmas fair once and bought me some candy. A lot of the peppermints got stuck on my 4’ to 7.5’ frame, and I thought the colors looked real pretty. When I feel like bein’ all fancy, I like to put on gold and silver decorations, too.
Speakin’ of fair, daddy took me to a county fair once and lost me at the cotton candy stand. It sure was funny when kids tried to steal bites of the sugary stuff, and got a taste Cotton Candy Pink Christmas Tree instead! Daddy said it was on account of my lookin’ so sweet. I told him, “If you think I look sweet unlit, wait ‘til you see me with my candy-colored pink lights!”
Oh heavens, look at the time! I do believe I’ve talked about myself enough. Tell you what, you sit down and make yourself at home, and I’ll go fetch us some lemonade. I’d love to hear any stories you might have. I sure hope I can be a part of them, too!
What Makes Me So Special?
I’m sweet as can be – the color of a baby’s cheeks (face cheeks, not butt cheeks). Indeed, the perfect shade of pink for a baby girl’s baby shower. A little peachier and rosier than her cousin, Pretty in Pink, this one is what princesses and fairy tale endings are made of.
