Our In the Navy Blue Christmas tree has gotten all dress up today in his crispest navy suit and shiniest stand to salute the brave men and women of the Navy. Let’s listen in on what he has to say:

“Thank you for the honor, courage and commitment with which you serve our country. I appreciate the hardwork, dedication and sacrifice that you put forth each day so that I can enjoy living as a True Blue American.

I still dream of getting to join you one day. Unfortunately, I don’t think I could make it through boot camp. I’m very good at standing at attention. But, I’ve never been able to do a successful push-up—sadly, not even a single one. Nor have I ever been able to complete a 1.5 mile run. In fact, I don’t think I’ve ever even completed a 2 foot walk.

So instead, I stand here with great respect for what you have accomplished and what you are still destined to do. Thank you for choosing to serve. I salute you with my every branch (now if someone can just help me move my branches, that would be fantastic).”
