Read what Naughty or Nice has to say about itself:
I'd like to preface this by stating a clear fact: I am an upstanding Christmas tree. I'm currently getting a master's degree in arbor studies to better understand my cousins the living Christmas trees, I teach Sunday school, and I write and record Christmas songs for children. I've never broken the law… On purpose.
Every family has a black tree, right? (But please don"t get confused. My branches are as green as grass) A wild child from decades ago, whose DNA gets significantly filtered over the generations but pops up every once in a while. Well, that "every once in a while" happens to be more frequent with me.
Deep in our family history is Aunt Fanny. Paintings show that she and I share similar appearance – we both have a lovely in and out shape that is ideal for hanging ornaments, and we have a warm green color. My needles are a mix of life-like PE and the traditional PVC. The PE tips make me look like a real tree, while the PVC tips give me a nice, full width. I have clear lights and she didn't have any. And she is entirely to blame for my poor behavior.
Aunt Fanny was known for her pinecone-busting. She was brash and mouthy and painted her needles different colors. Old copies of North Pole Tattler tell stories of Aunt Fanny owning the local pub and dancing on the bar with her lower limbs showing, running a crystal ornament ring out of her basement, and selling falsified papers to help convicted Christmas trees cross into Canada.
I don't remember what I've done to be in jail again, but I'm sure that when Officer Tom arrives, he'll let me know exactly what I've done.
