It was a dark and stormy night. The school play had run late, so the family was hungry and cranky as they drove home. With every jostle of the car hitting the water-logged potholes, the kids grew ever more impatient. “Are we there yet?” they cried over and over with growing desperation. Usually this was only a 10 minute drive, but as luck would have it, tonight they caught every red light making for a long and painful journey.
At last they made it home. But something seemed a bit off. Hadn’t they turned on their Christmas tree before they left the house? Why was the house so dark? From the shadows in the window, it appeared that the Christmas tree wasn’t even in its usual spot. The kids were worried and frightened, repeating, “What happened? Daddy do something! What happened?” in hushed voices with tears beginning to stream down their faces.
The father was probably just as anxious as the rest of them, but he had no choice. As he entered the front door, before he could hold his tongue for the sake of the children, he screamed, “What the Flocked?!”
For the kids in our audience, the next section has been censored due to Adult Language. To find out the rest of the story, you’ll have to hear it directly from the What the Flocked Christmas Tree. He lives to retell the story, especially because it has such a happy and surprising ending. And yes, the family gets their dinner.
What the Flocking's All About
Our What The Flocked Christmas Tree doesn't just have an awesome name, she's an awesome tree! She has all the trimmings of any other fine Treetopia tree (sturdy metal stand, premium lights hand-strung by our skilled elves, sturdy branches, free storage bags, and a female tree topper plug), but she's flocked! All you have to do is set her up! We put on the flocking here at the North Pole, so you don't have to deal with it at home. We flock her after we hand-string her lights, so the lights look great too! For a closer view, check out the photos above. You'll see that while we are sure to flock the entire tree, we didn't completely hide her in thick flocking either. She has just the right amount to bring the snow-covered look without anyone asking, "What the Flocked were they thinking about when they hid that beautiful tree under two inches of flocking!?!"
